Stephen is the founder and Chairman of Ore Group, a private company focused on natural resource discovery and development. He is also the Chairman of public companies: Orecap Invest, QC Copper & Gold, American Eagle Gold, Baselode Energy, Mistango River Resources, Metal Energy, and a Director of Awale Resources.
Stephen is the Founder and Chairman of the Young Mining Professionals Scholarship Fund, the largest mining-focused charitable organization supporting mining engineering and geology education.
Stephen holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Ontario, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management, and a Master of Science from the University of Florida.
Dr. Rebecca Hunter has over 15 years experience as a uranium exploration geologist in Saskatchewan and Nunavut. As a project geologist for Cameco from 2005-2016, Rebecca led the Turaqvik-Aberdeen exploration project, where the high-grade Tatiggaq and Qavvik uranium deposits were discovered adjacent to Orano’s (formerly AREVA) Kiggavik uranium project in Nunavut. Dr. Hunter completed her PhD at Laurentian University, which focused on the litho-geochemistry, structural geology, and uranium mineralization systems of the Tatiggaq-Qavvik uranium trend in the Thelon Basin.
James Sykes has 20 years of uranium and rare earth exploration and discovery experience in Saskatchewan, Canada. He’s been involved with NexGen Energy’s “Arrow”, Hathor Exploration’s “Roughrider”, Denison Mines’ “Gryphon”, and more recently Baselode Energy’s “ACKIO” uranium deposit discoveries in the prolific Athabasca Basin area. His discoveries and successes over the past decade have helped generate billions of dollars in shareholder appreciation. James is currently the CEO of Metal Energy Corp., and Director for American Eagle Gold Corp., Baselode Energy Corp., Kintavar Exploration Inc. and UraEx Resources Inc.
Charles is a P. Geo with over 30 years experience in project generation, business development, exploration chemistry and hands-on project management. Charles previously held the position of General Manager of new business opportunities with IAMGOLD Corporation from 2008 until 2009, after having spent nearly 17 years in various capacities for Noranda-Falconbridge-Xstrata, including as country manager of Brazil from 1996 to 2001 and manager of the Frieda River Project from 2005to 2006. He holds a Bachelors of Science in Geology from the University of Ottawa and a Masters of Geology from McGill University.
