Location and Infrastructure

The Northwest Athabasca Project is located in the Maurice Bay area along the western shore of Lake Athabasca, immediately east of the Alberta–Saskatchewan border and roughly 75 km west of Uranium City. The project offers multiple access options, including float or ski-equipped aircraft, barge or boat transport via Lake Athabasca, and a seasonal winter road built across the lake ice. This combination of aviation, water, and winter access allows for efficient mobilization of personnel and equipment and has historically supported reliable exploration programs in the area.
